Colour : deep and intense red.

Nose : aromas of mature red fruits (blackberry, blackcurrant), spicy scents of clove delicately mixed with notes of toast.

Palate : powerful attack, supported by fine and coated tannins, offering a beautiful density of mouth and a length marked by aromas of black fruits (morello cherries, blackberries).

Serve at : 17 to 18°C

Food and wine pairing : Grilled duck breast, lamb curry, quail with mustard and honey, Perigord hamburger, chanterelle omelette, compote of Southern vegetables, cheese (Munster, Bleu du Haut Jura), chocolate fondant with raspberry heart.
