Colour : deep garnet red, Intense.

Nose : expressive with fresh fruit flavours (redcurrant, blackcurrant), enriched by hints of violets and a slight touch of mentholated notes.

Palate : supple attack, supported by a fine and discreet tannic structure, evolving towards aromas of spices to end on a beautiful aromatic freshness.

Serve at : 17 to 18°C

Food and wine pairing : Ravioles with ceps and foie gras, Greek- style brochettes, courgette piperade, goose confit with sorrel, tournedos of beef with forest sauce, lamb sauté with curry, cheese (Maroilles or Crottin du Morvan).
